Any One no my ET on my TSW THUNDERS?? I am lowering it 40mm v.soon and was wondering if they wud rub??

There 17s, Will they be ok for a 40mm Drop :? Ive been told yea by sum peps and been reading No in otehr posts :(

Ive got et40 and all the way down on coilovers, back is fine front is rubbing my arch away :lol: u'll be ok

i'd guess the wheels ET is between 40-45 so yeah i think it should be ok for a 40mm drop.
As diddon said above, take a wheel off and have a look on the back.

I would guess ET42 :D

TSW Thunder are available in et40 on the 17" rims, not et42 therefore this (most likely) will be your offset.

30mm, no problems depending on tyre, and 40mm should be the same ;)

well a 215/40/17 is higher than a 205/40/17

This is because the 40 refers to the profile as a percentage of the width. Therefore the 215 wide tyre has a greater profile. This in turn makes your wheel diameter bigger and more chance of it catching an arch. Also, the 40 in those are often sold as 45 which is a greater percentage and a bigger tyre again!

I only guessed as the TSW website shows most their wheels as ET42
