hey guys me tyres need replacing soon, was wandering how much do the standard,
continentals 185/55/15's cost per tyre?

or would it be better to go for a more up market tyre?

continentals are a premium brand so will cost more..look on mytyres for reference..usually cheaper online than ur kwit fit

My local Hi-Q just gave me these prices:

Yokohama £48
Bridgestone RE720 £54 <-good tyre, have them at the mo
Marshall 717 £38
Nankang NS1 £38
Tigar Prima £39 <-Tigar are a Serbian company owned by Michelin, had their tyres in the past and were good value

Those prices are fitted, balanced and with new valves etc.

was that for one tyre? sh*t thats a little steep as the tyres arnt even low profiles,

im just going to get some middle range tyres i thinks

55 profile is considered low profile.

If you want cheap tyres then put on a set of 14" steels - 175/65-14 are way cheaper than 185/55-15. You'd pay less than £30 for the 14" tyres.
