hey guys me tyres need replacing soon, was wandering how much do the standard,
continentals 185/55/15's cost per tyre?
or would it be better to go for a more up market tyre?
continentals are a premium brand so will cost more..look on mytyres for reference..usually cheaper online than ur kwit fit
My local Hi-Q just gave me these prices:
Yokohama £48
Bridgestone RE720 £54 <-good tyre, have them at the mo
Marshall 717 £38
Nankang NS1 £38
Tigar Prima £39 <-Tigar are a Serbian company owned by Michelin, had their tyres in the past and were good value
Those prices are fitted, balanced and with new valves etc.
i paid £60 for continentals fitted, balanced and valves

was that for one tyre? sh*t thats a little steep as the tyres arnt even low profiles,
im just going to get some middle range tyres i thinks
55 profile is considered low profile.
If you want cheap tyres then put on a set of 14" steels - 175/65-14 are way cheaper than 185/55-15. You'd pay less than £30 for the 14" tyres.
