Help choosing 18's [Archive]

Looking to get get some 18" alloys for my standard looking sapphire black sri in time for Trax, and have narrowed it down to 5 choices but other suggestions are welcome

1. Alessio - Spider

My mate has these on his polo, 18" again and they made it look so good, and on a corsa they will look massive! :D

1. there nice rims, i seen one other car with em on i think, but still they suit the car

Going to place my order this week and looks like Force 10's it is. Does anyone know of any other corsa's with 18" Force 10's ?

So far cheapest deal i've found for Force 10's is £855 (Rochford)

from memory the Ace dont come in friendly offsett... get the force 10s!

Yeah you had ACEs the wheels in question are AXEs :)

unless they're the same make? I wanted some AXEs but they only came in ET38.

I am ordering the 18" Force 10's on Thursday with the 215/35/18 Nankang HR tyres but was told that the tyres come in a different size i.e in height even though they are 215/35/18 and was advised to go for a lower profile tyre due to clearance. The car is down on 15mm springs.

Can any one confirm this or am i being taken for a fool

Last question, do i go for Silver or Black

Been testing the car and since fitting the wheels the breaks seem very heavy and sluggish. Is this natural when going to a bigger tyre
