Just wondering what jobs people do to scratch up the extra cash to mod their cars??

im a furniture maker,its a cool job coz im proud of all the stuff i make ,the stuffs not cheap either.i have a house rite next door to my work shop so i ca get up when i want and stop late to make stuff for my c, i made my own boot install ,parcel shelf and door components speaker adapters,im verry handy with 18 mm mdf and a tub of pva

I got too many qualifications to list!!! I'm an IT Infrastructure Projects Engineer by trade, managing a team of 32 contractors who install networks and maintain them for a large site of 3500 people and 108 buildings owned by the MoD.

*I am also a trained MCSE in Windows 2000 Administration (Domains)
*Web Author
*Project Manager with PRINCE 2 Qualifications (Member of APM Group, Certified Practitioners)
*Done a 3 year Apprenticeship in IT as well with the MoD.

All round IT Guru!, Got any probs then see me first!!

It's gotta be done mate ;) Thats so much more fun than my job :lol: Working for a large MoD company has its advantages, they pay for everything! There's been times i've said all that and people go "yea right" so i scanned in all the certificates! :D

Well I lived in Handsworth (next to Aston) for 17 years, three shootings on my road, my car broken in, dad's car stolen three times. Aston still has shootings...so yeah still quite bad...but improving...! :)

Sometimes do evictions etc etc.

If you ever watch 'life of grime' on telly and see the horrible homes they go into, well I have to go into places like that. Also the programme called 'balifs' we have to deal with people like that too.

Only last week I went into a house with furniture in that I provided and the place was a mess beyond belief, the girl was covered in scars and the guy looked like he was taking drugs, while I was there!!!

Also been threatend once or twice. Working in the housing section of a local council is certainly eye opening and I wouldn't swap it.

The atmosphere in the office is brilliant too. We have a great laugh.
