radio reception

hey turners had my car to fit my tweeters, front door speakers, amp n sub n i got my car had to reset the time date etc

also had to reset the radio chanels but..... my local radio chanel galaxy is gettin a totally rubbish reception in places where it should be perfect radio1 is better but still is being distored now and again

No/loose connection on the aerial lead for the hu?

nope its a halfords jobby little silver one

but its now quite rusty but i had the same arial b4 n it was fine...

Is it the same hu? Or a diff one?

I'd check the aerial connection to the hu, if that's fine then try replacing the actual aerial

it might be cos its old get a new one, but get a bee sting a short sthand one much better

but i had the same arial b4 it went in and it was perfect which kinda eliminates it being the arial but ill put the old one bk on n see, im thinkin it could be a loose connection wire some where....

The connection between the HU and the arial lead on mine needed to be well taped to make it stay, and it could be that it has just popped off. Take the HU out and look for the arial connector and check ;)

same arial as me n my receptions bollox for galaxy/ metro but radio 1s excellent

cant be arsd with radio anyway really
