My standard vauxhall cd player is giving me grief cdr 2005

been treated with kid gloves from new but is playing up, the power button when u push it in does not make the unit come on, you press it many times still nothing u REALLY push it in hard and if you lucky the unit comes on, been leaving it on and turning unit off from ignition, really anoying me now, can't really turn it off usual way any ideas, i have looked in manual says radio fuse, and thats been replaced,
the unit then went into safe mode and i unlocked it with my code, any ideas people?
could be on the way out i pose but not bought that long ago got the receipt somewhere but been longer than a year, paid silly amount for it when i got it :(
