ok im really confused here!
ive got a 54 plate, 2005 1.8 sri and i want to put my alpine h/u, changer, sub, speakers, 6x9s in my car! all simple... or not!! ive taken all my standard vx headunit out, ran all my wires thru my car etc.. i did have an 02 plate sxi which i had this set up in so thought it would just be a case of plug it in! how wrong was i! firstly my new car had a different iso plug in the back of the standard headunit and a different aerial! ok.. so i bought an autoleads adaptor to fit the new iso plug to my old ones and to fit the aerial.. problem there.. dont understand the instructions.. it shows a yellow and orange cable coming from the new adaptor which should be permanent live i think, which it says to plug into the back of my hazard switch which is an 18 pin plug.. but its not its a 6 pin plug!! ive tried plugging my alpine h/u into my car doesnt work as ive been told int need two lives!? im very very confused! anyone else had this problem???

alright mate i have a 05 corsa, put a alpine headunit in it. i got the autoleads cable and it didnt work but i have the full cabling which vx supplies for its aftermarket single din headunits, also got the fascia in matt silver. pm me if you want them

i got one just wacked it in, just swapped the wires around for the power coz it kept resetting itself, got a 54 plate not sure why ur having problems.
