we have no width, no squad depth, and no goalscorers apart from big al

Keith

it must knock their confidence down when they haven't got 1 yet :(

i think liverpool want him, except for benitez. its the board trying to sign him. i think we have a fairly good cahnce as we're the only team to show a real solid interest and put up the money tbh

Souness is crap, When he started people said he will bring discipline to the club, Its not dicipline that he brings with him, its a bloody bad attitude! I just cant imagine working for him can you? Its got to be time for a fresh start for Newcastle, New board, New managment and perhaps a couple of hardworking and not over paid new players, I dont think in all honesty that the squad is the problem, especially when you take a look at the names in there

I hope we dont sign owen, will be a bad move IMO.

why? he'll score goals, he's similar to shearer in every way, just not quite as good especially in the air/strength

i don't think souness is the man for the job. however, i don't think we can afford to kick him out at the minute. we really don't know if we'll still be up next season, but if we are, maybe then we can start again, btu how often should we be starting again??

shepherd needs to go first and i don't think its going to be long before there's a HUGE campaign ofr him to go. he was already being called for on wednesday...

Why? He stated that he only wanted to come to Newcastle if it was on loan, he only wants to goto Liverpool, if thats the case, i would politely tell him to **** off, paying £80,000 a week for someone like that.

i'd rather pay £80k a week for him than £80k a week for dyer who won't play 20 games a season, and we can't even rely on him to get through 90minutes

owne ain't the type to not give it his best at a club, even if he didn't really wanna be here, he'd still giv it his bestshot. liverpool don't want him, but i think what he meant was...he'd rather play for liverpool over anybody, not just newcastle, i'd do the same if it was the other way round, say i'd rather play for newcastle but if they don't want me i'll talk to other clubs

u can't blame him - plus we can't offer him much tbh at the moment, we should be gratefull hes interested at all

I wouldn't pay that for dyer either, if i had my way dyer and jenas would both be gone, their both useless, i still wouldnt have owen though.

we should of got rid of dyer a couple of yearsago, thing is he wouldn't be so injured then

i'm still not sure about jenas, he looked up for it today when he was on, but sometimes hes just like dyer and fannies about too much.

what we really need to do is:

get rid of:

ameobi - pure ****e

faye - pure ****e

carr - liability

babayaro - not interested

dyer - cripple

so that weooould leave us with about 10 players to buy. we can't affordit, so basically wor squad is always going to be a mess somewhere

i still think luque reminds me way too much of robert awell, but we'll have to see on him

aye i don't see him doing much defending, he looked stroppy, and i think he could be amazing...when he feels like it. have to give him the benefit of the doubt though
