Hiyahhh all :D

This is a fair quick question for a change... i swear! :P

I am finally there with installing my components and amping them.... its going good! Taking ages tho!!

My wee question is.... What sort of settings on the amp are best for front comps?! they have a cross over.

Im guessing you leave the filter on full.... (so its not sending only the highs or the lows...) and the cross over will sort that! BUT what about gain and bass boost and all that?

Basically for general non music specific listening, how have all of you set up your amp for your front components (with crossover)?

Any help would be great! :D

Craig! :)

yes leave the crossovers so all freq are going through to the speakers.

For the gain set amp gain to minimum and turn the volume on the head unit up 3/4 to all the way. Then increase the gain on the amp slowly until the speakers start to distort then i wold turn it down a touch from there

This way you get max volume without risking damaging the speakers

Leave bass boost turned off chances are you can adjust that from the head unit anyway
