i have will have about £150-200 to spend on components and maybe an amp to power them if need be as i have been told this creates a better sound. any ideas whats the best for to get for value and performance??

should have gone to trax, and bought it there mate. i managed to get all the components and Subs and amps i needed there, all by one manufacturer as well. (had a similar system before on old car) its a lot cheeper and you could have bartered a bit withem. (i did and got a set of 7" door speekers and tweekers as well as some 6x9's free.)

Budget wise Mutant are supposed to be quite good for the money but JBL are also supposed to be alright. dont know too much about the budget end. try going into halfords and seeing what they sound like then buying them elsewhere??
