my last corsa c (y-plate sxi) always had a rattling noise that sounded like it was coming from the passengers side of the dash.the noisewas there some day, others it wasnt, and others days it was louder too, never ever looked into it i just got rid of it
Its like somethign is loose and it rattling. It happens wenever we go over the lisgest thign on the road, so its every 3 seconds.
Its coming from the back/boot.
Ive check the tyre and jack but its not that?

Exact same problem here. Mines a 52 plate, 15000 miles. Was doing at on 5000 though. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? It sounds to me like its coming from behind the passenger rear card

Er, he hasn't got one!
he did have, its gone though :?
Over the years at my house we've had 6 Corsa C's, all of them have rattled from seveal places, but the worse it usually the glovebox, the handle sometimes rattles, as well as that back of it. I think its mainly because the glove box isn't screwed at the back, just the front which allows slight movement at the back

You can definately get worse mate. Dont get me started on saxos!!!
The rattling is something that obviously is a pain in the arse but the squeking dont sound to clever. I'd take that back to Vaux if its still under warranty
I get that rattle and yer it sounds like its comin from the passengers side. Funnily enuff only just noticed it today and now iv found this thread, weird :?

I have the same ratteling noise on my 04 and it's only 2-3months old :(
Sounds like it's comming from the back somewhere also my suspensions squeels like crazy but i have just had it lowered afew weeks ago so maybe the springs wearing in :?
ive got that same rattle from the back passenger side. ive come to the conclusion it's the rear left speaker grill, housing, all the plastic around there. funny thing is, it never did it with the standard HU in place *whistles* i reckon the speaker housing has been worked loose by the sound of biffy clyro pounding outta my standard speakers never tried to sort it, probably make it worse by not screwing the panels back on porperly

Good thinking  never thought of that
could well be there, may take my rear card out next week and take the speakers out all together, I'll let you all know if the gay rattling goes :)
It wont be that, I have the standard cd player in.

I dont use them speakers and still get the rattling. But it may be the speaker movin about of something gay like that. Easiest thing to do is look
My '04 creaks and groans on the springs. There's also a rattling and knocking from the driver's side back wheel. It hasn't got any louder, and there's nothing loose that I can see, so I'm going to ignore it. :)

Pain isnt it. I was thinkin of askin vaux to have a look at it when they service it, but I know now that they will just fob me off saying its my fault because I have taken the door cards off etc etc
Mines a 53 reg and rattles from the glovebox, I find if i squash stuff in it against the back it stops it somewhat. I also have creaky steering column (sometimes) and creaky suspension on the left rear!! :o

where bouts in 'ull are u rach, never seen u b4 :)
Most of the squeeks you're hearing will be your shocks are not lubricated enough, i had squeeky rear shocks with standard springs, and they still squeek with Apex springs, only more now because they are constantly under more tension.

My boyfey lives there so I'm around most weekends. He lives in West Hull, Princes Ave area
I spotted your car in the city center

 shame i wont be driving about, another accident, i guess gods got summat against me..3 smashes in 1/2 a year :(:( see ya around..
anyway back to the question i think its summat to do with the rear panel? althought i need a new 1 welded in it might sort the problem...also id like to solve the problem by turning up the speakers but its useless if u have cracklin ones

i to have this problem :(, although mines more of a squeak noise just recently things have got really bad, i have been forced to spray wd40 all round the bolts everywhere in the car, in fact it is listening out for the squeak, that i smashed my wing mirror trying to listen out for the squeak, i clipped another car (no really!) i can't tell if its coming from the rear or passenger side, went down the road the other day round the roundabout and the passenger side window winder fell off!, since putting it back on all is quiet, wd40 helped to im sure of it! so far not a sound for now!
What do you expect? You've got a Corsa, so you must have arattle anyway. It comes with the breed
