WHAT DOES 'INSP' MY MILEAGE CLOCK???

i started the car yesterday and where it says how many miles ive done, it said 'insp', it did it again when i started it today it did the same thing. it comes on for about 3 secs then goes off??!! please hEEEEElp! :?

Its the service interval indicator, telling you your car needs its service.

ive had it one year and done 11,200. it hasnt been serviced yet

One year it is mate.

The BCM keeps track of the miles you've done, and how long since it was last reset.
When you go to vaux for a service, the BCM is updated with the service date, and it starts counting again.

You can get rid of it for twelve months by holding in your trip reset button and switching on the ignition. Keep the button pressed for 3-5 secs I think it is, and it'll stop doing it.

Mine did it for 18months before I knew how to turn it off!

I didn't know what it was went mine came on. It was flashing at me for 3 months! Then got it serviced ;)
