problems selecting 1st and 2nd

i im having problems selectin 1st and 2nd gear, is this a common problem? what should i do (apart from 2learn to drive!!2)

take it back to vaux. It's a common problem. You could check the gearbox lube levels if it's tight and awkward, but nowt new to hear about it tho

normally clutch when they crunch going into reverse try putting it in 1st before you go into reverse

Same prob wityh mine too...

However i can get it in fine, but its slightly less easy, than 3rd and 4th....

It doesnt like going in fost and second when around 15 -20 mph...

I've noticed that it crunches if you slip it into reverse b4 the car has stopped fully, thats even with the clutch down.

Yeah, gearbox spinning forwards, and you'r trying to reverse it. What you expect?
