Im planning on getting a new set of 18's for me C. At the moment i have 18's onit and its lowered 40mm but rubs now n again. Does any1 know the best offset to get no rubbing at all?? The rims i have on are 7.5" x 18". If i get 7" x 18" will this stop the rubbing?? :?

but if you can only get 7.5" wide, then 40-48 offset with 215 35 18 rubber should be fann dabby dooby, but you will still need minor arch mods

I pm'd TJ about this last week and got this response:

"It was down 30mm on eibachs tyre sizes were 215/35/18 u need them as they're only size that will fit."

confusionnnnn ++

well 205 tyres are narrower and have a better chance of fitting tbh, but they are a non-standard size and may cost more. TJ will have been referring to a standard tyre then.
