wrong springs??

had my springs fitted today, just been out for a ride and they were rubbing like f*ck... thought that was starange as it was only 30mm... looked on the box and it says 1.0 1.2 1.4 and i have a 1.7.. aint right is it?? :(

going to ring LMF tomorrow and see, but i am thinking that i have had these wrong springs fitted, to now pronb to have them removed, sent back, then re fitted the new ones :x:x:x

no the box that the springs came in have 1.0 1.2 and 1.4.. surely that aint the right ones for a 1.7??

yeah thats what sam said... ARGGGHH was hoping that they were gunna be right :( this means paying someone to take them off and re fit them :cry:

aye I got my grouping wrong

1-1.4 = one set

1.8 petrol 1.7d 1.7td = diff set

yeah they are being taken off in an hour

lmf we really aplogetic, and have offered to pay the fittng cost, the un fitting cost and the fitting cost :look: :lol: another set is being sent out monday :( poor gaz hes gutted..

You need the pro kit 10-65-002-02-22

Instead you have been sent 10-65-002-01-22.

And it is truely the engine weight that makes the difference. This is why I remind people when putting SRi springs on a 1.2 that it is pointless as you don't get the same effect!
