i have wired up my neons like the one in the tutorial but now want 2 run them of a switch how is this done?? can i cut the cig lighter connectors off and jus wire it up to the back of the cig socket?? thanx

dont cut them off. Go to your local car "bits and bobs" store and ask for Scotch Locks. These allow you to get power from a given wire without having to cut he cig lighter or whatever off on the end.

And yes- wiring to the ciggy lighter is fine

If you don't want to cut into the wires, don't buy those, but piggy back spade connecters. The have a second spade to allow two connections, meaning you don't destroy the original wiring. I put a switch in the back of the recess on my stereo fascia. Out of sight, but easily reachable.

Glad your taking it out though - cant tighten them up while your down there as a couple have come lose :D
