Alright people had my sri since march and need some new brake pads i think cos mine are squeeking. its 1.4 sri any suggestions on some longer lasting ones?

if there only been in since march it unlikley they need replacing yet,its proberbly just a build up of dust,do a bit of hard breaking to clear them out or take the pads out and give them a blowing out with compressed air but remember to wear a face mask

ok cheers mate ill take the alloys and have a look at how much is left on the pads.
sand the leading edge of the pad to make it smoother, sorts out noisy brakes :)

while were on brakes.. how much would you expect a garge to charge to change the front discs and pads maximum?

Well I managed to change discs and pads in 35 minutes, so no more than one hours labour for a garage.
