thought id post some latest pics of my car on here, as im normally on here reading up on my gf's corsa.

I like them, I think the car sits really well on them.

The bodywork looks spot on but the alloys would look better in 17's

i thought it was a 1.2 me mate has one ! they do a 1.6 as well i think but not a 1.4

If it were me, I would have gone for at least the 16's possibly 17's... but thats just me :)

Only other thing... possibly a change of mirrors... Not quite sure what too... But they remind me of the standard Corsa ones!

Yeah i'm on cliosport :) I'm thinking of getting some new mirrors which have a carbon fibre insert with 3 LED's as indicators, should look good although a bit pricey... I've stuck to 15's mainly because its only a 1.2 and i wanna maintain as much speed as possible lol but also because it can go lower on 15's :)

Sounds like some good plans you have there mate :thumbs: However I would still go for the 16"s even if it does mean I have to sacrifice a bit of speed!

agreed, i find it quite refreshing to see different cars, on 'set car' forums whats the problem? Middo posts regularly on here, and gives a lot of people some excellent advice.
I prob will go for 16's, but in a more deep dish style possibly rota's. Was originally gonna get 16's but i didnt want silver wheels and at the time of buying them, there wasnt many options. hopefully early next year they will be changed, want something a bit more special...

For a clio m8t looks wkd :thumbs: but then ya get to the inside
must admit the g/fs corsas interior is much nicer than mine, but hopefully that will be one of the next things sorted! Have got some black rota slipstreams in 16" in the pipeline should finish it off nicely :)
looks really nice. would lookthe nuts with a 172 cup interior in it. but im not really a fan of black wheels. some 17s or 18s would look s**t hot like this 1

Very nice car should of got 16" tho, is it the 1.2 bin in my m8s and it aint as quick as my 1.2sxi corsa
sorry but really dont like big wheels, especially with it being as low as it it (bout 85mm). I'm getting an even better interior than the 172 one, 2 cobra misanos up front (in black and red) with black leather rear bench! There shouldnt be much between the clio and the corsa tbh, the clio comes with 75bhp (i think) as standard. Couldnt really tell you bout the speed difference as i've only driven my g/fs corsa, and thats a 1.4 16v and ob much faster than mine! Am plannin quite a radical engine conversion in the next few years however, i'll keep you posted ;)

being only a 1.2 there will only be the few 1.0 nd 1.1 u can outrun, not much else!
the bigger wheels will shave a few seconds of ur top speed nd u shudn't b drivin that fst unless ur on a track!
keep the wheels mate or go to 16's, they look damn ****ing tight, one of the nicest clio's i seen and its sitting nicely on the rims. put any bigger on them and your gonna lose your whole image and make it look like every other modded clio which tend to look ****.

someone on my wavelength! i'm keeping them for the time being, concentrating on the interior! I wanted my car to look different, have never liked big wheels, make cars look almost cartoony, hopefully will change them next year and get some proper euro wheels, thats the look i'm going for! Thanks for your comments :)

quite like the smaller wheels, suits the styling, first cio ive evr liked so good job!!

i'm all for euro mate but i reckon you need a more track inspired set of 15s for the car, the euro wheels wont go with the rest of the car :(

that looks poo.
desperately want some 3 piece 16'' schmidts with a colour coded powder coated centre, but cant justify over 1600 on alloys at the minute. probably swapping to some 16'' rotas, or 16'' konigs early next year when the interior is finished.

i wanted 8x16 and 9x16 schimdt's, but the one piece, but it was crazy money considering my rh cups are like new and i have 5.
thats the problem with schmidts though :(
the konigs im looking at are a similar design, but come in a 16'' which is what i originally wanted, and have some nicer details.
