30mm lowering with 17s

i realise that you can fit 17s to a corsa with 30mm lowering, but am worried about scratching the rims by kerbing it, can you fit a different offset to solve this so that the spokes are recessed. Also what the lowest profile tyre, has anyone put this tyre on their corsa- can u post pictures. thanks corsa c members

some tyres have an overhand so they stick out over the edge of the bottom on the alloy this helps protect them a bit at least
