Mates, your assistance is required please!

I've just bought the Irmscher Gear Knob for my C, but I really don't know how to remove the current one and install the new one.. :?

this is what I purchased:

There's no tutorial here, so your help will be must appreciated!

Cheers

I don't think this fits the 'C' mate, and to get your old one off is a case if brute force and ignorance.

Pull it
Twist it
Rinse & repeat!

It'll come off in the end!

Thanks for the reply ka$h, but isnt the reverse lift gear knob system universal?? I mean, I had a Corsa B before, and an old friend of mine changed the gear knob for a Momo Airleather knob, then I sold my B but keept the old gear knob and it looks like a mirror copy of my current gear knob of my C.... hope this one works!!

Could be, just I had a feeling they were different between the B and the C and that one is listed as 'b' compatible that's all. Don't know why I think that but I do

i think even some of the c gearnobs are different i'm sure the sxi has a thicker shaft than the non sxi

The sxi is shorter than the comfort one, and slimmer I think. Usually this aint a problem tho cos the replacement will have a grub screw to tighten it on.
