i think you can yes. you just cant do it the other way round. ie. wire up 2000 watt amp with 500 watt wiring kit. triple check with what others say before you do anything tho! :dontknow:

Depends if the 500watt amp has terminals big enough (ie accepts 4 guage)

as long as the kit is rated over the peak power of the amp and the terminals fit then its fine
