1000w Amp's Wiring Kit

Before i start i tried search and couldn't really find the answer i was looking for.

I have just bought a 1000w amp and subs. I have no wiring kit at the moment but am looking to buy one tomorrow.

Obviously i'm looking for a kit suitable for 1000w, but if i cant find one local will a lower wattage one do?

Local halfrauds has a 730w kit, would this be any good if i cant find a 1000w kit?

you need 4 gauge power wire at least i would go for 0 gauge to be sure if you go to any decent car audio shop they will stock 0 gauge cable.

Assuming that the amp is 1000W RMS of course??

If its 1000W peak then smaller wire would be fine
