anoying buzzing sound

rito i have wired up ma amp and when i turn it on all i hear is a sort of buzzing noise unless i turn the beats rite up. i heard its cause some wires are to close to other ones or soe rubbish like that. has anyone else had this prob and can you get rid of it???????

Right, you have electrical noise in your system.

this can be caused by many things.

Poor RCA leads run with power, poor earths, badly placed earths all contribute to noise.

Try recifying the above before adding additional items to your system. By that I mean yuou can add a noise supressor to the power supply of the amp to reduce and hopefully eliminate the noise in the system, but if it's coming from the RCA picking it up, a supressor is a few quid down the drain.

Run the power cables down one side of the car and the RCA's down the other side, anywhere any wires cross should be as close to 90deg as possible, this removes alot of the chance for problems with noise
