View Full Version : Lowering 30mm on sxi alloys?! :|

right... i want to save up and get enough money for lowering and alloys! :D

rite now i am on sxi 15" alloys........

my question is.... can i lower it 30mm on the sxi wheels.... as i was thinkin about asking for springs for xmas :P only thing is i wouldnt have the money for new alloys for a while :|

so can it be done... any reason not to.... im guessin it will be about half way thru the year before i get alloys lol!

Wouldnt have any problems at all and when u get new alloys up to 17s u wont get any scrubbage either :D

a nice set of 30mm einbach (sp) springs :P

and just keep saving like a wee ******* for the 17's hehe!

Thing to watch with lowering 30mm on the original SXi alloys is if you have ABS mate. If you do, relocate the cables for it, they will rub and wear through on your wheels if you put them back in their standard clips.
