I need a wee hand :( you all seem pretty smart with off topic stuff.... so i thought i would try here :P
Im pretty good with computers, set up many a network before but having problems with this one..... :(
basically..... my pc has the connection to the internet this is wired works perfect. got a wee laptop now and want to share it via wireless :D i can get it working.... but it keeps disconnecting :( can be after 10 mins, 45 mins, anytime :(
basically its set up using what windows call ad hoc (no idea why... bloody stupid name) as i do not have a wireless access point. just a pci card and a pcmcia card :P again it does work... just disconnects :( all i need to do to fix it is go over to the pc and tell windows to 'repair' and it does its stuff...come back to the laptop and itw working again! :D
Ive checked its not powersaving on either pc or the laptop.... nothing should be stoppin it! all drivers are up to date also :(
Any ideas?! dingy windows.... and use a different program to do the connection?
