just spent most the night playing multiplayer on this, tis great that a 3 year old game still plays mint and looks the bollocks (well when shooting peoples heads off and blood spurts everywhere, whats there not to like :lol: )

seriously man, you seen the stats? like 100,000 more people per night play 1.6 than source. in source you dont even need to aim, if your crap play source, got skills play 1.6

source looks nice, but the hitboxes are wrecked. you dont need to aim anywhere close to the head for it still to reg as a headshot, hardly skilled at all. just graphically better
1.6 gameplay wise is 100x better, and considering cs is like nearly as old as me as a game, it still looks damn good :D

I'd rather playa realistic game than a ****ty old one where everything is square.

Might just be your graphics card that can't handle the graphics of source :lol:

I've been playing CS since the very beginning, every new game has bugs, you just have to wait for the upgrades to fix the problems.

if it's so good why are all major competitions still played using 1.6? CPL, WEG, ESCW are all 1.6. WCG may have been source, but they even let teams qualify using 1.6 cause they knew they'd get no interest from top teams if they made it source only
