was doin 60 in a 60 limit, was goin slightly up hill so cldn't accelerate that much. followed a bend in the road and when i started to straighten up the back end didn't follow me nd followed the end, pulled it back but then went the other way and started sliding and went thru a hedge head on, which was covering a fence post, then all of a sudden the car rolled once or twice (hard to tell when u r inside) and landed on my side of the car!
was well scary!
underpants r goin thru the washin machine 4 like the 10th time to get rid of all the **** i filled them wit!
the lexus lights looked quite gud on there actually, well betta than chrome ones!
went back yesterday cos it was getting towed 2 find some1 (chavs probably) had nicked my amp, which was screwed down and stole my sub (but left the box which it was screwed 2 without undoin the screws!)
i had free insurance on it as i only got it in august nd says in the policy that i'll get a new replacement one!

Nope I did that in 03 :| plus the roof still looks pretty straight :look:
On a serious note though mate, unlucky, know how you feel. Just hope you can learn from the experience.

I have learned to back off a little bit on buying the Corsa after 3 years driving MINI's.
Whilst the Corsa is a tidy handler, it isn't the best in it's class and you have to treat corners with a little more respect as you can feel the car doesn't want it and is close to the limit on occasion.
Saying that though, in defence of the Corsa, I did manage to do a 180 into a ditch in the Dalby Forest in my MINI, albeit on bald front tyres after clipping gravel at the side of a road on a corner. Fortunately, apart from some very, very minor wheel scratches and a bit of mud on the quarter and nsr wheel that had to be washed off I got away with it 100%. ;)
Sorry to see your damage anyway downer. Glad you both got out OK. Hope you have a bit more luck in your next car, and if any good has come of your experience then it'll be you backing off a little when perhaps you wouldn't have done before. This 30 year old has learnt one or two things by his mistakes. ;)
