General vaux meet on feb 26th braehead burgerking car park(m currently a shift mgr for them), I know a few of the astra sport boys are going so wud be gud if some scots corsa c got be goin, i know i will be colso

yea dead easy to get to, the police units at linwood only stop wee plumbs reving their novas, saxo's and driving like eegits--it is next to ferguslie park so they get good business, ne 1 up for meeting at braehead then head down?? colso

sounds like fun :) ill have the least modded corsa so u'll recognise me, should have a backbox by then and lowering springs :thumbs:
but i do have a paintball gun that u can have a shot of i spose...
I think a mini CCUK meet would be brilliant. Gives us all ppl to follow (if you dont know where it is) and gives us the chance to meet up so we all know who each other is.

maybe come, the cops at the showcase rock. They came over at the retro car meet and said it was cool as long as we kept the noise down and behaved.

cool...the showcase at coatbidge is matter of 5 to 10 mins for me quick trip down dually...see you all there! Be good to have a ccuk meet though as I have never met any of you either in person.

Well I was the only corsa there, have to say it looked pretty poor for corsa-c as the message i got told was you were all having your own meet at braehead. Your organiser was also commented to say your meet will be ****e anyway( the vaux one)
Meet had a good turn out of Astras and vectras and 2 monaros. Shame it came across as like corsa-c felt they were too good to show face. Even if that wasnt the case.
The meet was also posted on alot of forums

No one knew at all what time it was going to be held at. I am sure many of us would have turned up it we had info on this. We will need to make sure we show our presence next time.

i had 3 people text me about this meet, and i knew nothing about it, didnt know what time, or exactly where, details of it in this thread have been slightly hazy to say the least.
"your organiser" must be referring to matt, as i never said anything other than i'm not going. i was under the impression people were meeting up at braehead to go to the showcase, then one of the members told me it was at strathy park :look:
i have no idea who organised it, when it was on etc etc, if someone forwarded me details then maybe something could've been done, but i was busy, and i know some people were off to street and strip too that day.
we're never to good to show face, dunno what's gave you that idea! :D

If it was orginised properly then more would have showed up, including me. I was looking forward to it aswell :(
