View Full Version : My Astra VXR new pics added 9/1/06 **56kware!!***
After many many months i got it yesterday these pics were taken today at diddons..after 120miles of driving so car is a bit dirty but not too bad. Will look soo much nicer in summer when the sun will catch the black sapphire better...will post better pics when get time at home.

done about 200miles now, got it at 3pm yesterday the 4th and its soooo good!!:D

they are very nice :) as far as im aware the plactic piping in the middle of the rubber hose that was on the let now houses the boost pressure sensor, it could be the barometric pressure sensor.

the rubber bits of pipe either side of it on the lel/ler engine are not very firm at all either, which is annoying, sure regal or similar have some better pipes available though ;)

Wouldnt suck flat due to the plastic pipe in the middle, but I just dont like seriously flexible bits :P :lol:
astra H's bay is slightly deeper isnt it? boost pipes look like they have further to go from inlet to cooler that on the g's

Its a stunning car mate, I have seen them in red, ardan blue and the black you have. Its not my first choice but if I had the chance to take one I wouldnt care what colour as they all look stunning!!!

should be red on a black car but vxr's all have blue calipers wotever colour the car is...mine might change.

like EVB said full milltek zorst system is 15bhp increase straight away, then thats it until insurance is up in june then a change of insurer to allow more mods mayb.

The car can handle the power fine!! is nowhere near the torque steer clarkeson was on about either, lotus have designed a very very good chassis.
If this was black there wouldn't be a whole lotta difference. Love em both, Top car!

for starters the front and rear fog lights & side repeaters wouldnt look like afterthoughts on the astra

Its the only vauxhall i like and hope does well i actually cudnt give a toss about other vauxhalls coz i think they are boring souless cars. The astra vxr has the wow factor! Parked nxt to that focus it looks the nuts, i think ford were hoping that a crazy colour would get everyones attention away from the astra

Done near 500miles in it since weds afternoon, & i only live 2miles from work, have been on some major random drives hehe.....is a great car does everything really really well.

i've heard that a chip/remap you can get for the focus gives it more power than the vxr and it still costs less than the rrp. although if you were going for the next level of performance it would have to be the BMW M version of the 1 or the Golf R32
why would i go for a BMW or Golf R32??
depends which focus u go for etc etc n a chip n remap for vxr is on the way. but not for mine. have some new pics sorting them out now

i opened the garage, i havent seen the rex for a while now, n was like OMFG!!! how is it that dirty!! wheels are literally black!!
btw thats a clean just using the remains of my autoglym shampoo n nothing else but a rinse before n after the shampoo, i got £55 of meguires stuff on order so should get nice n shiny soon.
ok now the light has faded got some pics of the front lights (xenons) was parked too close to house for rears n couldnt b arsed to move it.

Front looks mental and I really like the alloys but im not keen on the back and if I had the money I would get it in Blue

Was only the concept mate, my zorst will be changed to a 6x4oval which fills that gap nicely.

yes standard seats mate, full leather is £1k option.
when turn ignition on dials flick round to the right then back to left n where they should be is cool.

also, dont get an oval pipe coz its the compelte wrong shape, it looks daft, have u seen that other thread with the videos? think its the miltek one, it just looks too round for the rear coz the rear has lots of straight edges

they aint gonna through in a £1k option mate! but i got a nice deal so dont worry.
The milltek only comes in a oval pipe you dont get an option.
whoever asked i'm 23.
