Can I fit any brand cd changer to a pioneer AVIC X1R or does it have to be pioneer

Nope has to be pioneer only.

Depends on the type of connection, Think the Pioneer is IP Bus connection so any of those should work.

anyone know model numbers of pionner ones that will work with a avic x1r

or site that will tell me other than pioneer site
