3 months ago i bought a new cd player for my corsa. i bought Pioneer DEH 7700MP. to be more specific this is my MP3 player: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3241.html
according to pioneer's site DEH7700 is this one: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4039_150874695,00.html
also according to pioneer's site MY DEH7700 is this one: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4039_150552873,00.html

can somebody help me to find why for all car audio stores DEH7700MP is different than the one is @ pioneer's official webpage???????

i think they changed the numbers recently when the new blue one was launched..

when discussing it with my friends at www.clubcorsa.gr and www.caraudioclub.gr they told me that the blue one is the american version and the one that i have is the european. may someone confirm this?

if u look on the englicsh web site the deh 7700 is the green one off caraudiosecurity.. the blue one u saw was off the american site and is this one http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3453.html

Yep, PureCarSound had different products under different codes as American numbers are diff ;)

the one u say is P70bt and its different!!!its quite the same as the american version of 7700. just the front panel!!!if someone watches a little closer the photos of official pioneer site, he will observe a button at 7700 american version (the one it looks like P70bt) that is used for satelite radio. its maybe this that makes the difference between european version of 7700 and american one...i just dont see a reason why they didnt put the same front panel at both american and european version of 7700!!!american version is quite beutifull!!!!!

Well as the american version has satellite radio (which is a load of subscription based crap) it would be pretty useless in europe, which uses the crystal clear and totally free DAB format. I dont know why they changed the design tho!
