Hi, ive just installed a vibe sub in my car and its all working fine etc and after messing around with the treble settings and stuff on my cd player, i noticed that when theres a very quite part on a track, or the track is playing but there is no sound at all, like at the start, there is a noise, like the noise u get if u turn up ur PC speakers up reli loud with no sound (ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss).

Now the noise is coming from the tweeters, have I blown the tweeters by puttin the treble 2 high etc or is this normal to come from tweeters, if I put my ear to the tweeter I can hear a simulatr sound when the music is playing.... Im not sure if this is just cus this is the first time ive really concerntrated on the sound.

tweeters only produce high frequency sounds, so it could just be the audio source producing that signal.

Ur not giving much detail tho, are u using factory tweeters or ones u have installed urself etc

Are they component speaers with a crossover?

there the standard vauxhall tweeters, and it does it on all songs

How loud is the noise? is it barely audible or quite noticable... could just be a faulty connection from ur head unit, which head unit are u using?

its not that loud but i can notice it which is annoying lol.... im using a sony m7850 or somet like that

uve probably blown the factory ones, cuz they r crap!
get some decent components in instead

i agree with James!go get a pair of compos!!maybe its only a noise coming from the HU. i know that pioneer 8600 has a cool fun that produces some noise...

Yeah and with it being a sony head unit it wudnt suprise me if it made a bit of noise!
