What Subwoofer

Alright guys,
ive come into £700 therefore can afford most of my system. I going to get a DLS A6 for the sub which is 1000x1, DLS A3 2x100. For the comps im thinking possibly the Diamond S600S (unless someone else has similar suggestions). The thing im stuck on is a subwoofer. I was looking at the Diamond d912d2, but just wondering if theres any other suggestions, one of the other ideas was a MTX 9500. Has to be a 12", everyone has a JL 12W7 (well not everyone) so want to be a bit different. Any suggestions.

it wont push it hard enough. Go for a SE and that should be perfect. Cheak the RE website for the idea spec on the box

is there any arc amps which can run the xxx? did get offered an idmax have to see if the guys still got it, was like £120 which doesnt seem bad, neva used. what about comps would there be any other suggestions

cheers, still not sure, going to order the comps and amp to run them and then decide on the other parts possibly a iridium 12" as i figured im going to use the car to get to uni and back which is 1hr 30mins roundtrip so dont want a constant headache so going towards the sq subs. therefore dls and diamond seem quite good makes. going to wait till new headunits comes out in march or so therefore gives me time to fit it all in, going to be fun making a box and false floor and all that stuff again. just be glad to get some sounds since i havent had anything except stock for over a year now.

Vince dont forget Focal also...or ScanSpeak...not very loud though but extremly quality bass!

i had a look at focal but the ones i found were all around 400rms or so, is that right or is there some other cos i did think that was a bit low.

ahmmmm there is Focal KX 40 which is about 1000RMS!!!and there is a much larger, Focal KX 46 (46cm!!!!)...cone made by Kevlar...go check them at www.focal-audio.com

going back on what i said about JL as everyone i spoken to said if you can afford one go for one, so would the above system be better or the following: DLS UR5, DLS A5 and a JL 10W7. That would be a nice lil install wouldnt it. Also saves me as i will only need one 4awg cable, no distro blocks etc if i have one amp
