hay people just got back myself and i nearly fell asleep driving about 8 times :(.
it was my first show and it was ok but the weather and the place they put us wrecked it really. was really good to meet new faces and have a beer with people i already no. oh and thanks to joe for getting me there even though he likes his detores.
getting there...... 7 hours 35 mins and 3 quarters a tank of fuel
getting back on my own with no map 2 hours 45 mins just under half a tank of fuel

purple corsa is very gd but had alot of work done to it and tbh i can beat scooby`s in my corsa!

Just got home!! Cheers for a top day out, it was great to see all the corsas in the flesh!

My only complaint is why the **** were we on the grass when there was loads of tarmac area to park on...even the MG club got on the tarmac...c'mon for god sakes...MG! Thats bearly a car!

Serious though was great to see a few new faces and some sweet Cs :thumbs:

Roll on the next show, hopefully i will have a couple of mods on my C! I think mine was the only standard one there today!

Weather and stand location I agree wasn't that great to be honest. Seen as we where one of the biggest stands in attendance would have thought we could have had a better location.

Did anyone see the jet car goin down the drag strip?? Jesus that was amazing! It was almost unbelieveable, it did it in something like 6 seconds and nearly blew the place down! My mate got a video of it, when i see him next i will get it uploaded somewhere and post the link in the other thread...it is defo worth seeing!

Took 3 hours and 10 mins to travel 82 miles home :|:|:|

I crawled in traffic for about 50 miles all the way from Milton Keynes to Heathrow Airport :|

Got in just after 8

Yeah the raw power of my 10,000 BHP quad turbo SXi just couldn't get traction on that blasted grass. was ripping it up all over the place. its only because i can't go out on the drag stip and burn like the real cars :P

£30- call out for the fitter
£120 fitting, thats ok as we knew that anyway
£30 for the transponder
an also need to buy another key a i need the chip for the remote start so realisticaly bout another £50 even tho vx will want summit stupid like £800 <sigh>

just thought you would wanna know how much it will all cost ya

shame i couldnt go on the strip with you tho...deffo will do in the summer at PVS

so all in all the alarm cost £380 with all the features workng, fitting and ready to go, just realised how much i spent at the weekend, prob bout £500.......hmmmmm not good. But still a fookin ace weeken :thumbs:
