nope its not rubbing or anything like that, and it only came on last night, ive had the springs on since wednesday
could be something in one of the dampeners if theyre compressing too much, how much did you loere it? doubt its the braking system if you just changed the springs

it wasnt me that done it i took it to a garage to be fitted, revolution in gateshead, think i might have to give them a ring on monday morning, its really bad, everytime i hit a certain pressure on the brake pedal "clunk"
Does it clunk when you brake and also when you pull off again? I had a problem like that and it turned out that one of the clips securing the brake pad to the caliper had come loose and it was the brake pad moving about ;)
Worth a try and has a quicky fix

its still doing it :( could it be ANYTHING at all to do with the suspension, its not hitting the top or rubbing i know that, im starting to swing more towards it being a coincedance and its actually my brakes....but the noise seems to be comin from directly under me when im sitting in the drivers seat rather than the front of the car

ZOMG still the problem goes on. its been suggested to me that the spring hasnt been fitted properly, as in...the end of the coil hasnt been fitted into the correct place on the car where it should go...and when i brake the weight shifts forward and it bangs off where it should actually go. Whats your opinions on this? and how can i check to see if the springs fitted correctly
I can see why someone could come up with that idea Craig but would the spring really be able to spin round to bang off there when the cars weight is on it and its compressed ? Once that spring is in place i can't see it moving.I helped out doing my springs and its a job geting them in.You have to clamp them, get them into place and then close everything up again. They wouldn't move once in place from my experience.
Have you noticed it banging when you take off from stand still ? Jack the car up if you can and take the wheel off.Look at the spring area n have a feel around. Also look under the car and just see if anything looks out of place.
check the bottom wishbone bush's, ball joints etc, i had this prob and it was the bush's
