just put Black Diamond PAds and Disks on the C,

but now there is a bubbly grinind sound everytime i brake..... any ideas what this is.. its ONLY from the left side?? i did think air in the system but that would make the brakes fade and not just make a noise.... it seems to brake ok still but just wondered if anyone knew of this.

nah they wil just take time to wear in the hydralic wont be affected. as u havent opened them.

if u fitted them prooper, then it wil just be a case of wearingin for a few days

normal driving?

normal driving.... the brakes got really hot one time and thats when the noise started... as i say its only when applying the brakes. so maybe the heat sealed the pads a bit?? but then that seems odd that only the left is doing it?

cant remember where it is but theres something about bedding brakes in, start off gently and work it up getting harder and harder and once there warm, get us a lot of speed and brake fairly heavy, repeat a few times, there will prob be smoke coming from them now, leave them to cool and its all done.

Which discs dit you buy? the drilled & grooved make a fluttering type noise naturally as the gaps glide over the pad.

Just when you said bubbly, it made me think of mine and it was more of a flutter type of noise I had. drive with your window down, and on a narrow road to hear it best ;)

Sounds like you might still have some dust and crap in the gaps in the other side. Both sides will do it.

Sorted this now. thankyou Ka$h, it was as suggested just an unusual sound, now both sides do it... it was just bedding in.
