Right well ive found a few threads on drivers side footwell leaks and most are saying that its the break servo seal. However, i dont think that this is it as the water feels like its coming in much lower down. Im also certain that its rain water getting in.

This is the overall picture of the drivers foot well. I cut the rubber stuff to try and find the leak but with no luck. Under the rubber bit is where it is most wet.

The water is all the way through the carpet but primarily on the left which is circled in the picture below

any help would much appreciated

Hi Ya
take a look at my tread 'Wet Drivers Footwell' ( http://www.corsa-c.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?301663-Wet-Drivers-Footwell ) ..

This looks like its the brake servo seal, Water passes by the seal, runs down behind the soundproofing, thus looking like it is leaking low down......You will need to get the carpet out as there is no other way of drying it, and if you dont you run the risk of the floor rusting..

If your not loosing coolant then its more likely the brake servo seal

how hard is it to remove the thing above the seal (i have no idea what its called), like youve done in the first picture on your thread?

not my pic, however, no need to remove, just remove the scutle panel, cabin filter inlet and the washer bottle and you then have access to the seal.

The sponge is in the wrong place. Take it out of the cubby hole and put it on the left!
