would it work if i got 195/40r17 tyres on 7 inch rim and down 60mm on standard shocks
im down 40 and it rubs fives up so down and extra 20 mill with no arch work i could se there being a problem, get them cut tho and it would nt scrub

shoudnt really lower it more than 40mm on standard shocks!!! ideally need to uprate the shocks to drop it that low.
I wunt even lower 40mm on standard shocks it fooked mine up and had to uprated em all
agreed - cheaper in the long run to get coilovers.
195/40 or 205/40 tyres will do, as long as u get the 40 bit then the side walls will come right in and won't rub much. The 195 or 205 is the diameter of the tyre and i would recommend getting 205 as 195 are so thin u'll prob buckle ur alloys over a big pot hole or something.

whts the cheapest place 2 get coilovers now ? how much did u get yours for ?
already down 40 but wnt more but dont really wanna spend alot on coilovers like
if u are on standard shoks and its et45, u wont get any rubbing
