i had a quote from Labtec for a full refirb (all 4 wheels) same day in Birmingham, for £220.00 i have no idea what it usually costs to refirb a set of alloys... what have/are others paying..... cheers. and numbers would be cool too.

i ahve been quoted £30 a wheel and they come to your house, but on the other side of things ive also been quoted £50+ vat per wheel which is pretty much double but 30 is the best ive had

depending on how bad they are it's between £30 and £60 a wheel

how do these mobile repaireres (eg. chipsaway) refurb them then? just paint match?

dont really know, think they fill the chipped area so its flush again, then paint it, apprently they look brand new again, but if you run your finger over them they feel a lil funny,

I've had my alloys done for around £30 each...and the bloke i go to has done a good job on them,i curbed the rim badly now an' again :thumbs: Think it depends on the extent of the damage though!!

I had mine done in Renowheel in Bridgend - ever heard of them? The guy was brill,told me it'd be two days max,put one in the mornin, had it back the next day...bearing in mind,this was only to do the split rim of my alloy.

Give him a shout, his name is tony on 01656 657993 - he may need to see the alloy first though. If you need any more info,give us a shout :wave:
