:? just wondering when you lowered your car did you just buy new springs or did you buy a whole new kit?
i've heard just buying springs and using the old shocks makes the car bounce around, is this true?

what has everyone got and is it good? :?

ive just bought -40mm apex springs for £50 and will be getting them fit this wkend, i think the shocks should be fine untill i get the shocks.but may just go for coilovers all round wen i save up the cash

at first i had my car lowered on just springs. yes the car bounces a lot due to the dampers (shocks) not being designed for uprated springs.
i would recommend getting a set of springs if you're on a very tight budget.
get a full susp kit if you're on a medium budget.
and get coilovers if you're wise. coilovers you can adjust the ride height on your car and more expensive kits you can adjust damping aswell. you won't ever have to replcae any components ever again with coilovers bcause its the best of all choices.

If you can afford it then get coilovers like mr.penguin had - cost about £500 though

or if you cant afford that get some 30mm Eibach springs - cost about £110.
