Ive tried everything but cant get my arches an even black there seems to be places where the autoglym wont stick.e.g.

Anyone any ideas I know you can only see it up close but when the car hasnt just been cleaned its really obvious.

Try wiping them with a de-greaser (meths or tar / glue remover).
This should remove all traces of grease or similar

Yep use that! Clean them first with car shampoo water and a scrubbing brush. Failing that tar remover. Nothing too harsh or it might turn white. Apply the tirm detailer with a microfibre cloth for a better finish

Make sure they are dry as a bone first! I found Autoglym does not always stick if another gel has been there before

use a heat gun then back to black them
will look brand new
could colour code them and never have the problem again

naw not really just rather not say in case it dont happen then would just look a spoofin fool :lol: but plans r irmy or steiny kit so we will see!!!!astra sporthatch may interveine tho :lol:
sporthatch would be nice, bit more cash than the c though.
i know what you mean though about plans for kits etc though, i have bits lying round the house but can't decide what to do with them
