cross overs

are crossovers need when changing speaker components?

i.e, can i get away with just buyin new alpine type r speakers all round and fitting them.

plus can i buy wiring adapters to use current speaker wiring???

yes but they are crap.

your best off cutting the wires, using terminal blocks to connect up to new speaker wire then use crimp connectors to connect to new speakers.

if your not gonna use the crossovers, i wouldnt bother changing the speakers at all.

y does it make such a big difference?

cos the crossover sends all the high pitch noise up to the tweeter by your ear, and all the low frequency down to the woofer by your feet.

if your a chav just get sum co-axials, ther well blingin the sound kwality is like mega init
