Well I've finally managed to get some pictures of me car but gone home to my home in ESSEX and have a pants dial up connection here so no broadband 4 me for a while. hopefully they loaded correctly to my site and show up.

No the spoiler doesn't come as standard, me dad works for vaux so painted up a standard black one for me. Looks good for a temp.
Not sure what i really do with it for now, not gonna be any thing too expensive. Got silver bumper stripes on the way but nothing to much for now. Me cant do to much as money is a bit short until i start my new job in september, then hopefully will still have some free time to do stuff.
have u got front fogs on your car, cause in the pics u cant really see them

and clean them wheels! sxi's look **** when wheels are dirty :D

I sorry had just done about 160 odd miles home from Notts home. The wheels are clean now, can't have the brake dust eating away at the paint on the wheel, can we.

do vauxhall sell bump strips colour coded? cos when i took mine off . i forgot one of my doors was repainted. and they havent sprayed under bump strip do there is 2 lines were laquer finishes.
no the bump strips come primed ready to paint

Its gone!!!!
Well not exactly gone, I left it all by itself at my home in Essex for 6 weeks. Only been driving it for a few weeks yet it feels as if i have left a piece of myself behind. Thank fully i've got pictures to re mind me of it, sad isn't it!

Because the pikeys where i live in nottingham. If your lucky most of the time they'll just smash your window for no reason but if your lucky they'll fcuk your locks. Had to get my dad to repair my flat mates door on his 306 which had its lock absolutly shagged.
This is a pic of the door after a great deal of hammering and filling before it was off to work for a respray.

Bloody Hell!! :o We have some dodgy pikeys around where I live but I am lucky that my road is quite hidden and there are alot better cars to damage before they get to mine!!

Even though its only a small and very common mod i've got myself a spoiler. Its not an Irmscher one but a SRI one and has a washer jet in the spoiler rather on the roof. Alright for 30quid.

Got it on ebay. It had been labelled up as a mk2 corsa so got it cheap. Painting didn't cost nout coz dad did it for us. It would have been a brillaint by for you coz it came in red so would have gone straight on yours.

Thought it was time for an up date fitted an irmscher grill last weekend, i know it ant much but i thought you all might be interested to see how shes getting on haven't posted about my car for a while now. Fitted a new head unit but gotta find a cage and plastic surround to make it fit properly, also got some lowering spring to put on once i sit still for more than 10 minutes.

Sorry to fool you into thinking it was, its more of look into the future to what things are to come. Heres an enlarged image of it.
Got the M3 mirrors, Grill, just need the wheels (which are getting harder to find mow rochford have stopped selling them), front lip spoiler and skirts and that it it pratically complete. Then i need to colour code it all. Easy! Got to do this in the next few months though, otherwise it may never get done as i finish my job and that means no money for a year whilst i finish uni.

Not sure... I'm 99% sure they are the alloys I saw...
Their website is www.tmc-online.co.uk and the branch is Witney but they don't have any alloy wheels on there website... The number of the branch is 01993 703713 :)
Sorry I could be 100% certain on the alloys but I'm 99% sure it was them!

That is to anyone. They have been on offer for ages but no one has bought them... I will check next time I'm in there what they are for certain!
Not sure on the offset because it didn't say on the sign and I didn't ask because they just caught my eye and I wasn't intrested in buying them :wink:

Normally i'd like to wait till i have finsihed a job before posting but this jsut looks to good. I know some people like to see work in progress so heres one picture hopefully more to follow soon.

Basically i have cut the top off the pre face lift splitter and sat the face lift bumper on top to see how it goes together. Plan to secure it tommorow and once dry sand it down some more and beginning filling. Will probably also plastic welding plates over the bumper strips to smooth them in, but this will have to wait as dad who can plastic weld rather well is away so its will be up to me to get it ready for him to do... Well thats the plan :D as plans are subject to change without notice.
that is going to look absolutely spot on i cant wait til its finished

Quick Q for you Twinport, when you look through the gaps either side of the spliiter can you see the connection that were used to hold the old ribber trim on as i can on mine :(

I've trimmed what i can off with a knife, be carefull through because there are some mounting points for the fogs near there aswell. Your lucky yours is black so shouldn't really be noticed. Hopefully once its all fitted and such you will never be looking at it from the floor so it should be noticed :)

Well its complete! And about time to. Had a few problems on the way the major one being painting it. But its done now and on the car and it looks AWESOME.
Tell me what you fink (especially smacke) Now I have got to colour code the rest of it.

It wasn't as difficult as you fink but it takes alot of effort and time to get it right. Have a browse through these pictures and you can see how it took shape.

Sorry to hear that mate, I do have a confession to make, i got one crack straight away but luckily its not in a very visable place (its in one of the air rams on the splitter. Tried to smooth the bumper to the splitter in them but cracked as soon as it was moved and i never bothered to try and repair it. Where abouts are your cracks? On the smoothed in rub strips?

Oh that little thing, thats a shop from ages ago when i was thinking of do this. Mines now starting to look just like it. Just wheels and colour code needed.

The cracks are just under where 3piece lower grille is there 4 :( Andy W seens them on the weekend and they aint too bad but are noticable with my car being black :(

I've been even more busy today. I mentioned a while back i'd keep the theme of removing the bump strips had i have. Just finished the rear and fitted it and looks sweet. Fink i'm gonna have to find a way of tone'in down the rear fogs as the red is over powering with the silver. Might try and dust a coat of silver over the light to see what that looks like.

Planning to get some 17" Toora T940 Platimum 8s. They still seem to hold there price even though they have been out years. Just gotta wait for some much need cash to fund them. So expect i wont be doing that for a while.

Each to there own i fink it looks a little weird but i'm getting used to it. Once the rest of the car is colour coded it should standout as much. Need an exhaust to draw the eye away from the colour coded trims at either side.
Nobody should knock it yet as its work in progress and will look better once finished :smile:

i like the idea of the pre facelift lip on the facelift...but not sure on the removal of the strips on the bumpers!
Although... its a new look, and good to be different as your not following the crowd, alloys next for sure!

I haven't a clue when it comes to prices, sorry. Probably alot and you really dont get much out of it apart from what is currently a different look.

Just thought i'd see if everyone thought this was a good way to blend in my fogs with the colour of my car to try and make the back look less odd. Its differcult to see with this photo but i have put multiple line of silver tape over the lamp with thin gaps between to allow light to pass through when there on and also help look more silver rather than bright red. A plus might be that this is MOT friendily.

Cheers ka$h would be good if i could get some star silver 157 tape but i don't fink its possible but in the flesh the match is good, and plus the lights are generally in shade so you can hardily notice the incorrect colour selection.

I've was thinking about getting your rear bumper add on when i started the rear and blending that in aswell as the rear would look sweeeeet. Hope you do it, as its a great opertunity to do something new and different.
