View Full Version : Help! Removing headunit Fasica

Need help :|

i am trying to remove the facia adpater that holds my apline head unit... i have the top unclipped but the rest is solid and wont budge. I have tried pulling but its stuck fast and there is no way of getting to the botttom to see if there are any clips

any ideas?

well you may have to break it then :lol:

We cut Sicky's out as it was a bitch to shift. Even me putting my weight behind it wouldn't shift it :|

GREAT :| i need it out in one piece has to go to its new home... its sprayed supra sliver too and so i dont wanna break it as a another wont match! ooo i could swear :| :lol:

u had a close look at the clips n stuff to see if they need flicking out?

mine was WELL stuck in i thought kash was gonna rip my dash out at one point :lol:

hmm you thinking of the bit i am :? :lol: the sliver adapter that you buy to pop an after market head unit in... there is not clips to flick out :lol:

well mine is well stuck in tooooooooooo... ka$h do you do home visits?

on the side of the silver adaptor somewhere half way down there should be two holes (one either side) to fit a screwdriver into!!
these holes are not visible when the head unit is in but they should be there thats how i did mine..the hard part is finding the holes...lol

maybe i was.....:look: the mental picture of u sitting there searching for non exsistant holes for the last 10 minuites has kept me chuckeling no end :lol:
