wot size of power cap and how many will i need?

iv got an alpine 1241 sub 600w rms @ 4ohms
and an alpine mrdm1005 amp 500w rms @ 4ohms

any help will b great cheers

if you WANT one, you will require a 1farad capacitor.

you dont need one though, and you will get laughed at untill you bin it.

only reason i was askin is cos when my musics turned up n a big bass line drops the all the lights dim n it looks like there goin with the music! lol.

cars not lookin rite just yet wait till the summer then it mite b finished. i hate bein a student im skint!

none its a shop. sits low but coilovers on the way.

im sure all the wiring just now is 4awg as it cost a fortune when i first got it! thats the really thick stuff aint it? sorry not very electricla minded

have you already upgraded the big three?

it's THESE Wires that need upgrading.

4awg is thick, but 2awg and 0awg are thicker... i used 4awg to nd from amps, and oawg in the big three. that will sort you out.

mine did this, i put 2 red top batterys in and now its fine

uv got a massive system i dont want 2 fork out on 2 batteries if i can avoid it! how much were they anyway out of interest

but i think its roughly 200 quid for 1 battery and a split charge
