lol, me and my good friend Munkie have came to an agreement......
Saying as the vxl meet was a disaster for corsa-c wee feel that there should be a meet soon to make up for it. I have noticed recently that the scottish forum is a bit slow with the good old meets lol......
I love a good old meet me lol and so does Munkie boy lol.
So the moral of the story is............. WHENS THE NEXT MEET???????? lol
I think it should be a saturday, during the day, maybe down at ayr or summit?
What's evryones thoughts?

You mite get a lot of people workin on a sat tho,showcase is always a good place as is braehead!!!

na they are always the same old places lol lookin for suhin with a bit of scenery for rly good pix.... thot of ayr as it has the shore front! .... there will be plenty of notice tho so shudnt b a prob

undecided as yet for location......Im from perth so even glasgow is quite a few miles away.Ayr is probably to far for me claire.

yeah falkirk aint bad for me.Bout half the miles compared to Ayr anyway lol .

lol sorry but i dont lol. the whole point of me puttn up this post was to make a day of it and plenty of notice so ppl could get the day off wrk etc.
you aint gonna get good pix at 8 oclick at night! Im talkin make a day of it, get a nice place and find a pub for a meal or suhin.
Ive been to a few astra sport meets and the last 1 i was at was the best. Meeting was at perth and we hit the pub for a good meal. Good pix too as it was at 1 in the afternoon.
At that time of night people are away out on nights out or are drinking etc. thats why im sayin about 1 in the afternoon at a good location e.g ayr queensferry, largs etc so that way we get good pix in daylight and a good few hours of a laugh!
What do you all think?
im up for that. i dont work sundays and only do 1 sat a month workin till 12 so an all day shot at the weekend sounds good to me.
yeah im with claire on the one.Good to meet up and make day...well afternoon of it and maybe a few would hang around into the evening.Just hope its a nice day :) Or if we plan it very well is there anywhere that would be under cover incase it rains ? LOL :D

I just thought about the forth road bridge area,theres a parking area below the bridge,get good pics there and on edinburgh side of the bridge theres retail park area with tescos and couple places to eat with parking high up and you can also drive down under the bridge aswell.Just means 80p charge if we drive over and then back again LOL :D Just a location that sprung to mind

I cant go on the 25th as i have a night out on the 24th and 25th and will be terribly suffering lolol.
Fourth road bridge is a good location, small down at the bridge tho but its good. Has to be in daylight tho as ther aint alot of light at the bridge.
I think sometime in april would be good as it give people plenty of time to organise things for themselves etc.
what would people prefer saturday or sunday? :dontknow:
Get up there early, get a good few pix a meal a couple of drinks for the passengers lolol :cheers: and have a laugh .

bit of a trek but the fife coast road is full of wee towns and could offer up some good photo locations?

wot i was thinkin. would be funny umpteen of us turnin up in corsas and takin over one o the wee towns for the day! they wouldnt know wot hit them! lol

definetly up for south queensferry! if its a nice clear day you will get some amazing pics with the forth road/rail bridges in the background, and has a fairly big car park and a few pubs and restauraunts around! even take a trip out to inchcome island for somethin to do, just an idea lol
cant wait til this saturday when i get my sxi+ :D

Suggestion for you.
Dont stick to just glasgow.
Its unfair on people that travel further, keep organising meets all over the show, scotland is a fair big ol place and its not fair on other members to keep having meets in the same location (ish)
p.s. matt 50 mile for a meet is fook all ya big wimp :P
p.p.s good meets only occur when I attend :P :lol:

So Sunday 16th April At 1 Oclock. North Queensferry i.e Fourth road bridge.... At the edinburgh side there is a big open carpark just inbetween the two bridges. It is just at the end of the wee town at queensferry, right on the water front so i recon that would be a good meetin place as the carpark is big.
Does everyone know where i am tlkin about?
Also lets start to get numbers together So copy and paste you name in if you car goin.
