uprated m headunit about a month ago. its started kinda jumpin. go over a bump and you loose all sound, but the time keeps on goin past, go over an other bump and itll turn back on?
anyone know what is goin on?
sounds like a loose connection, check all the leads are in properly and no broken wires

check the cage is in tight

it is a loose power cable.

check the cage is in tight
well icouldn't get the cage to stay properly inplace, so i padded it up with cloth. you recon that could be it?
the thing is that the headunit doesnt turn off, it looks like its workin fine but the sound goes off! cheers for the help lads

right the cage is in SUPER tight (aint goin anywhere like) still got the problem.
grrrrrrr it has to be the most anoyin thing ever!
Check the fuse in the back of the unit is clipped in correctly as mine wasnt on the back of my pioneer and I lost power just like you are with bumps in the road.
