had all my sound system fitted by a 'proffesional' audio installation company not so long ago.
the silly buggers have drilled a hole in a plastic box next to the battery to run the power cable for my amp and not sealed it back up properly!!
got into my car at lunch time and set of home for my grub and as i accelarated about a pint of water gushed out owt from underneath the back of the glovebox!!
now the passanger side carpets are p*** wet through!
am not a happy bunny! :x
i just hope it hasnt done any damage elsewhere as i put my hand up behind the dashboard and its soaking wet there 2!
profesional!? pfffft.

i pulled the cable that goes intothe car by the battery carefully, and fed me wire in there..... dont know for sure whatit was for... but it was a rubber grommet... and doesnt leak.... okay... now i have a bad feeling that it is the passenger airbag lol....
oh well... i wont be in that seat.....
will have a look later to confirm what it is. but it doenst leak and is easy to do.... might be worth an atempt.....

gd luck mate
 £50 to fit a head unit?!!! sum1 was ripped off!!!!
i did mine myself and the facelift cars don't have the rubber grommet and have a big plastic connector block for the ecu. after drilling thru mine and getting everytin soakin wet in the car i used silicon sealant, stuff u use in bathrooms, works really well nd don't leak at all! don't sound like hu did the job is too professional really if they can't do a job properly and overcharge as well!
