im looking at getting an alpine head unit something like the 9853R. i just wondered what would be the best setup for me 2 get. i dont want a mega loada sound but it needs 2 b fairly loud. i also want the best quality possible. i was thinking sub amp 6-9"s n coaxals? wil b my first setup as the car has the factory ones in it. please giv ideas and help!

to b honest i dont rly have a budget but im def not made of money. so something that isnt too expensive. i just want good quality audio

Get a decent set of up front components (17cm), amp them.

Then when you have more money, amp and sub.

Alpine/infinity/Rockford.

any ideas of what 2 get? its my first car n im new 2 it all so bad when it comes 2 decisions n opinions. thanks for this help

rockford - sub LOOOOVE THEM, dont buy 6/9's they are a poor mans sub, if u get a sub it will drown em out anyway

Dont bother with any rear speakers mate.

I would go for:

H/U
Comps 6.5in (17cm)
Amp for comps
Sub
Sub Amp

And even some sound deadening.

You maybe able to get a 4 channel amp and run the comps off 2 channels and then bridge the last two for the amp....could save some cash.

As for brands its abit difficult to say without a budget. Also what music do you listen to, this will determine the size of sub. From what you have said it sounds like you want a SQ system but still need abit more info dude!!! :thumbs:

i listen 2 alot of rnb, hip-hop (basically black music) but also like the odd bit of dance stuff. my m8 has all alpine, has alpine HU, front speakers, amp and sub. should i do the same? (he gt a 206)...

its not the speakers, its the music you play, get some ian brown on ur stereo, and ur laffing even with some sh1tty jvc cr4ppers
