Any top tips ???

Right im installing my Alpine Type-R 16.5cm Components into my front doors tomorrow.

Any tips on doing it such as little things i may have to overcome etc...

Basically anything that will help me out!

go and buy some replacement clips for the doors ,otherwise it will rattle like buggery if they break and then u cant get em bak in
U need 10 tweeter housing clips and 6 Door clips, but id get a few more to be safe
also, buy some gaffa tape and tape everythin up to stop the rattles!

yes i those clips snap well easy there cheap from vx i believe about the only thingthat is cheap from them lol

If you get confussed what wires to put in the crossover i just ignored the old tweeter cables and put the old mid bass cables in the crossover.Duno what other people have done tho.

u dont need to use the old tweeter cables at all, they are just spliced from the main woofer feed anyway.

buy lots of crimp connections and oh yes... a crimper. dont use more wire than you need and tape it down after.

Ive done it now, only broke two clips :D ! Going to do the other door next weekend :thumbs:
